What Trust Signal is, what each plan includes, and how billing works.
Trust Signal is a consent management platform (CMP) provided by Rooni. It is sold as a subscription software service and delivered entirely online — there is no physical product and nothing to ship. A fuller product tour is available on our website at rooni.io.
1. What the service does
Trust Signal helps website owners collect, store and honour visitor consent:
- Automated scanning of a website for cookies, tags, trackers and third-party scripts.
- A configurable consent banner and preference centre, matched to the site's branding and available in multiple languages.
- Consent enforcement — scripts are blocked or released according to the visitor's choices, including Google Consent Mode v2 and IAB TCF signals.
- A tamper-evident consent log, data subject request handling and analytics on consent rates.
- Multi-user organisations with roles, audit logging and optional two-factor security.
2. Plans and pricing
Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. Plan limits (number of websites and monthly visitor volume) are enforced in the application. Current plans:

Prices exclude VAT or sales tax where applicable; the correct tax is calculated and shown at checkout. Enterprise plans are priced individually — contact us for a quote.
3. Trials, renewals and cancellation
New organisations start with a 14-day free trial; no charge is taken until the trial ends. Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing inside the application; access continues until the end of the period already paid for. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated; downgrades take effect at the next renewal.
4. Payment and merchant of record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax and invoicing are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
5. Support and requirements
Trust Signal runs in any modern browser; the consent banner is installed by adding a single script tag to your website. Support is available to signed-in customers from the Support section of the application, or by email at [email protected]. We aim to respond to all tickets within one business day.
